BUON FEELING PER FENATI, A SUO AGIO TRA GLI ALTRI IN ASSENZA DI SCIE

fenati_rossiMilano, 17 ottobre 2014.

MOTO3, GP OF AUSTRALIA: FIRST DAY OF FREE PRACTICES

THE SKY RACING TEAM VR46 IMPROVES DURING THE SECOND SESSION

GOOD FEELING FOR FENATI, AT EASE ON THE TRACK WITHOUT SLIPSTREAMS

BAGNAIA IMPROVES HIS TIME BUT IS LOOKING FOR THE BEST SETTING

Milan, October 17, 2014. Positive second session of free practices for the Sky Racing Team VR46, as Romano Fenati refines and improves his time already in the first day on the circuit of Australia. Also Francesco Bagnaia is faster in the second session, but has to face some problems with the rear and front wheel.

Romano is used to improving from session to session in almost every GP. In fact, the Italian passed from 1’37.740 to 1’37.583, refining his performance also thanks to the absence of slipstreams and facing positively the difficulties in T4 with positive results. With a good pace, now the team aims at exploiting the third session to obtain a result in line with Fenati’s potential and with the results of his motorbike in the qualifying. The team will concentrate on Pecco’s setting (who moves from 1’38.733 to 1’39.016), looking for solutions to today’s problems with the rear and front wheel.

Sky-VR46 sports management“We are very satisfied with Romano’s performance, as he really obtained positive results. He is very fast, with a good feeling compared to the other pilots, and we have noticed that this was also due to the absence of slipstreams during the first two sessions. The setting is quite good, now we have to refine the last details to be even faster. The only session in which we still have to improve is the T4, but Romano managed to face this situation better in the second session. Pecco has some problems with the front wheel, as he doesn’t feel it, and this is a problem that needs to be solved, especially on a fast track like this. Today the team will analyze his results to find a solution”.

ROMANO FENATI: “In the first session we were all a little bit slow, but as regards our situation, the gap was lower. Another positive aspect is that we managed to improve our pace. Now we have to concentrate on the set-up to face tomorrow’s qualifiers in the best conditions and to move further”.

FRANCESCO BAGNAIA: “Today’s results were under our expectations, as we could have done better. We have some problems with the rear and front wheel, and we’ll try to solve them ahead of tomorrow. We’ll work to find the right set-up”.
