Moto 3 MEGLIO EOLO CHE GIOVE PLUVIO!

Today the rain was expected at Losail International Circuit where Romano Fenati and Jules Danilo faced the first two free practices sessions of the Grand Prix of Qatar. It didn’t rain but the strong wind kicking up after the first session, prevented riders from improving in the second one. Romano closed the FP1 with the time of 2:07.414, by getting the fifth time. The rider from Ascoli did many km with the H tyre but the poor grip on the tarmac didn’t allow him to obtain good times until a tyre change. Sixth in the second session, the rider of the Marinelli Rivacold Snipers team finished fifth in the combined classification. His teammate Jules Danilo improved compared to the last tests. The French rider solved the problem he had in the fast corners. Now he just needs to improve his lap time to get back to important positions.

Romano Fenati: “Yesterday  we didn’t turn a lot due to the strong wind: it wasn’t worth to risk the first day as we are feeling already good. If today there are similar situation, we will try to improve for these conditions”.

Jules Danilo: “Yesterday we tried a different set up compared to tests and I improved in fast corners, now I am feeling more comfortable even if with the wind, it was not easy to understand the real situation. My pace is not bad, I just need to improve my lap time”.
