SKY RACING TEAM VR46 2015: DOPO LA CONFERMA DI ROMANO FENATI ANDREA MIGNO SARA’ IL SECONDO PILOTA
Milano, 6 ottobre 2014. Lo Sky Racing Team VR46 guarda al futuro e si prepara ad “allevare” il talento di un’altra promessa del motociclismo italiano: dal 2015, infatti, Andrea Migno sarà il secondo pilota della squadra fondata da Sky insieme alla VR46 di Valentino Rossi.
Pablo Nieto – attualmente al Calvo Team e figlio del pluricampione mondiale Angel Nieto – da sempre con l’Italia nel cuore, sarà il nuovo Team Manager che guiderà Romano Fenati e Andrea Migno a partire dalla prossima stagione. Soltanto un anno fa, Pablo ha portato alla vittoria del Mondiale di Moto3 Maverick Viñales, attualmente impegnato in Moto2.
Il progetto del team di Moto3, basato sulla crescita dei giovani piloti azzurri, va avanti: nell’anno d’esordio nel Motomondiale, Fenati è stato l’unico italiano a conquistare ben 4 vittorie e un totale di 6 podi. Come lui solo l’australiano Jack Miller.
Risultati importanti anche per l’attuale secondo pilota dello Sky Racing Team VR46, Francesco Bagnaia, che quest’anno per la prima volta è riuscito a lottare per il podio arrivando quarto a Le Mans e collezionando ben 42 punti. Pecco continuerà il suo percorso in Moto3 anche la prossima stagione insieme a un altro team.
Andrea Migno, che dalla stagione in corso fa parte della VR46 Riders Academy, dopo un buon inizio nel CEV, ha fatto il suo esordio nel Motomondiale con la Mahindra all’ultimo GP di Silverstone dimostrando subito le sue qualità: vanta già un’ottava posizione raggiunta al Gran Premio della Repubblica di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini.

Milan, October 6, 2014. The Sky Racing Team VR46 looks ahead to the future and gets ready to “raise” another promising talent from the world of Italian Motorcycling: starting from 2015, Andrea Migno will be the second pilot of the team set up by Sky in partnership with Valentino Rossi’s VR46.
Pablo Nieto – currently in charge of the Calvo Team and son of the multiple world champion Angel Nieto – who has always carried Italy in his heart, will be the new Team Manager to lead Romano Fenati and Andrea Migno from next season. Just one year ago, Pablo led Maverick Viñales, currently running in the Moto2 class, to win the Moto3 World Championship.
The Moto3 team’s project, intended for raising young Italian riders, does not stop: in the year of his debut in the MotoGP World Championship, Fenati was the only Italian rider to get 4 wins and a total of 6 podiums. Only the Australian Jack Miller was able to keep up with him.
Outstanding results also for the current second rider of the Sky Racing Team VR46, Francesco Bagnaia, who for the first time this year was able to fight for the podium finishing fourth at Le Mans and bagging 42 points. Next year, Pecco will continue his Moto3 career within the ranks of another team.
After a good start in the FIM CEV Moto3 Championship, Andrea Migno, currently part of the VR46 Riders Academy, made his debut in Moto3 World Championship for Mahindra Racing during last Silverstone GP, proving his talent right from the start: in the Gran Premio della Repubblica di San Marino e della Riviera di Rimini he already clinched a great eighth spot.
