Romano era molto concentrato e l’ho vistoNIETO lavorare veramente bene su tutti i dettagli.

Good debut at Le Mans for the Sky Racing Team VR46. Fenati KTM is the fastest. Improving results for Migno as well Romano in the front pack in both free practice sessions. Andrea improving in the second session. Good debut for the Sky Racing Team VR46 on the first day of Free Practice sessions at the Monster Energy Grand Prix de France, on the historic Le Mans circuit. Romano Fenati kept top spots on the timesheets in both sessions and he proved the fastest rider on KTM putting in the 6th best lap in 1’43.438. The Italian rider had already made a good performance in the morning session (claiming the 2nd fastest lap in 1’46.841), although affected by the asphalt still partially wet because of the night rain. Improving results for Andrea Migno. After a struggling morning session (33rd lap time in 1’53.514), he managed to bounce back in FP2 to claim the same time (1’44.095) that last year won him the fastest lap in the CEV race and today 18th spot at the end of FP2. PHOTOS IN HIGH DEFINITION THE TEAM PABLO NIETO / Team Manager It was a great day. Romano was very focused and his was an all-round performance. He got a great pace and that is very important ahead of the race. We must continue on this path also in qualifying. Andrea too took some important steps ahead, he finished with the same time he had achieved last year in the CEV, when he put in the fastest lap of the race. This is an extra motivation for him who on this track has the potential to fight in the top 15 group. If we continue to work well, then good results will come for him as well. ROMANO FENATI / Rider It was quite a day for me and the team as a whole. My KTM was the fastest. I’m in great form physically and I got an excellent feeling with the bike. I also changed my driving style a bit in order to adapt to the bike as much as possible. We are doing a great job and if we go on like this, we’ll get great results this weekend. ANDREA MIGNO / Rider This morning I decided not to risk, given the conditions of the track which was still wet. I knew that in the afternoon the conditions would be better and that I could make better use of the session. And I was right. In the second part I improved, we still have to fix a few things on the bike but we are only three tenths off the top ten group and this makes me more confident ahead of tomorrow’s qualifying. My shoulder hurts a bit less and I am definitely heading for a full recovery.
