Moto 2, Romano Fenati, “Sono molto legato a questo circuito, al di là dei risultati

Austin, Texas, terzo, attesissimo round del Campionato del Mondo. Proprio in questo weekend, Romano Fenati festeggerà la sua gara n. 100 nel Campionato del Mondo. Tappa speciale quindi per Romano che, lo scorso anno, in Moto3, proprio qui tornò alla vittoria, dopo una bellissima battaglia con lo spagnolo Aron Canet. Il pilota di Ascoli non era nuovo ai podi qui in Texas avendo all’attivo due vittorie (2016 e 2017) e un secondo posto (2014). Il COTA è un tracciato molto tecnico e impegnativo, con 20 curve e una serie di dislivelli. E’ un tracciato amato anche da Tony Arbolino che, dopo la pole position e il decimo posto in Argentina, è pronto a dire la sua.

Tony Arbolino: “Austin è una delle mie 3 piste preferite, è un tracciato molto tecnico e difficile e non subito semplice da interpretare, ma mi sento mentalmente pronto. Sono più fiducioso e affronto il weekend con maggiore sicurezza dopo il buon lavoro di squadra fatto sulla moto a Termas de Rio Hondo. Andiamo a divertirci”!

Romano Fenati: “Sono molto legato a questo circuito, al di là dei risultati ottenuti negli anni precedenti, è una pista molto impegnativa ma proprio per questo stimolante. Veniamo dal weekend dell’Argentina dove abbiamo sofferto e adesso è necessario ripartire, mantenendo la concentrazione e la grinta”.

Romano Fenati: “This track means a great deal to me. Apart form the results got here in the past years, it’s a demanding track but at the same time very inspiring. We come form a difficult weekend in Argentina where we suffered a lot but now we need to restart, by keeping the focus and our energy “.
