Con il crono di 1’49.493, fatto segnare al suo decimo giro, il pilota di Ascoli si prende la sesta casella in griglia. Il passo gara c’è e le previsioni per domani sembrano essere buone. Per Romano si preannuncia una bella battaglia sulla pista che, nel 2014, lo vide salire sul gradino più alto del podio. Il suo compagno di squadra Jules Danilo, non al massimo della forma fisica in questo weekend, partirà dalla decima fila.

Romano Fenati: “Sono contento di questa seconda fila! Forse ho sbagliato a fermarmi verso la fine del turno, accontentandomi della sesta casella, ma siamo a posto per domani e cercheremo di fare una bella gara”.

Jules Danilo: “Mi aspettavo una qualifica migliore. Il feeling oggi non era male ma ho perso il gruppo buono nel momento dell’attacco al tempo e non sono riuscito a migliorare. Domani partirò indietro ma darò il massimo come sempre”.

Romano Fenati: “I am happy of this second row. May be I was wrong to stop at the end of the session, by settling for the sixth position. Anyway the bike is good and tomorrow we will try to do a good race”.

Jules Danilo: “I expected a better qualifying. Honestly the feeling today was good ut I lost a really good group during the time attack and I wasn’t able to improve. Tomorrow I will start far but I will do my best as always“.
