Romano Fenati: “È stato un piacere girare sul nuovo asfalto di Silverstone

Il nuovo asfalto di Silverstone, dove quest’oggi si sono svolte le prime libere del Gran Premio del Regno Unito, è piaciuto molto ai piloti Snipers. Questa mattina, nelle FP1, Tony Arbolino ha fatto segnare il record della pista fermando il cronometro a 2’12.008. Bene anche Romano Fenati, rinvigorito dopo il risultato dell’Austria. L’ascolano chiude la combinata di oggi con l’ottavo tempo. Le previsioni sono buone per il weekend e entrambi i riders sono già pronti…

Tony Arbolino: “È stata una giornata interessante, peccato non essere riuscito a migliorare il tempo nella FP2. Stiamo lavorando bene per la gara, dobbiamo solo riuscire a togliere ancora qualcosina”.

Romano Fenati: “È stato un piacere girare sul nuovo asfalto di Silverstone, ha un bel grip ma abbiamo un po’ tutti problemi con il consumo della gomma e sarà un weekend molto difficile da questo punto di vista. Noi siamo pronti, abbiamo lavorato bene oggi e domani faremo del nostro meglio per ottenere una buona posizione in griglia”.

Romano Fenati: “It was great to ride on the new asphalt here at Silverstone, it has a good grip but we all have problems with the consumption of the tyre and it will be a difficult weekend from this point of view. Anyway, we worked well today and tomorrow we’ll do our best for a good position on the grid”.
