Romano Fenati: “Giornata positiva dove abbiamo lavorato molto bene.

Romano Fenati: “Giornata positiva dove abbiamo lavorato molto bene.

One session on the wet and the other on the dry in the first free practices day of the Australian Grand Prix. In wet conditions Tony Arbolino and Romano Fenati dictate the pace by closing the FP1 respectively in first and third position. On the dry Romano felt better by fixing the eighth time in the FP2 (1’37.625, 0.815s from the best time). Tony is a little bit back and tomorrow he will probably face the Q1, since much rain is expected for all the day. Considering the feeling on the wet, for the rider from Garbagnate the Q2 would be easily reachable.

Tony Arbolino: “It was a day with positive and negative sides at the same time: we got a good feeling on the wet while on the dry we missed a further step. Tomorrow we can develop what we understood today but we will have to look also at the weather. We’ll try to pass to the Q2 and get the first two rows even if here the starting position is not so much important“.

Romano Fenati: “It was a positive day where we worked very well. We were fast in both conditions and this must give us the right motivation for the race. It’s important to get a good result for me and for the team“.
