Prima giornata sul circuito di Jerez

Jerez de la Frontera – Spagna, 28 Aprile – Prosegue la stagione Moto 3 che, dopo Austin in Texas, raggiunge Jerez in Spagna. Gli Snipers ripartono dalle tappe Europee su un circuito che piace molto sia a Romano Fenati che a Matteo Bertelle.
Giornata di prove libere caratterizzate da un caldo secco, con la temperatura dell’aria tra i 35 e i 40 gradi, e quella dell’asfalto sui 60. Si parte con le P1 in questa prima giornata per affrontare i 4.4 km di tracciato. Sia Romano che Matteo sfruttano questa sessione per settare al meglio la moto e prepararsi alla seconda sessione nel pomeriggio.
Matteo riesce a progredire molto bene, abbassando il suo tempo a 1’47.2010 e tagliando il traguardo sesto.
Romano chiude tredicesimo sfiorando così la possibilità di rientrare nelle postazioni delle Q2. Per lui il team prova diverse soluzioni alla ricerca sempre della migliore che possa portarlo a sentire meglio la moto.
Quello che aspetterà gli Snipers domani sarà una giornata impostata a lavorare sulle varie componenti che possono migliorare il setting della moto su un tracciato particolare come questo spagnolo.

First day at the Jerez circuit

FP1 – Romano Fenati #SpanishGP
Jerez de la Frontera – Spain, 28 April – The season continues for Moto 3 which, after Austin in Texas, reaches Jerez in Spain. The Snipers restart from the European stages at a circuit that both Romano Fenati and Matteo Bertelle like very much.
Free practice day was distinguished by a dry heat, with the air temperature between 35 and 40 degrees, and the asphalt temperature around 60. P1s set off on this first day to tackle the 4.4km track. Both Romano and Matteo take advantage of this session to set up the bike and prepare for the second session in the afternoon.
Matteo managed to make good progress, lowering his time to 1’47.2010 and crossing the finish line sixth.
Romano finished thirteenth, just missing out on a chance to qualify for Q2.
What awaits the Snipers tomorrow will be a day set to work on the various components that can improve the setting of the bike on a track as particular as this Spanish one.
