Romano c’è, prove libere fra i top3 per lui

Assen – Olanda, 23 Giugno – Proseguono le tappe del motogp stagione 2023, senza sosta e con le sensazioni della tappa tedesca appena conclusa ancora calde si va avanti con l’ottavo Gp: Assen.
Circuito storico dove il nostro Matteo Bertelle non aveva purtroppo mai girato, ricordiamo che lo scorso anno protagonista di un brutto incidente si è visto costretto ad interrompere il suo mondiale.
Più esperto sicuramente Romano, che conosce sicuramente bene questa pista e dove ha già fatto podio.Parte subito forte il primo giorno di prove libere per lo SnipersTeam. Matteo gira veramente concentrato e non sembra essere intimorito dall’università della moto, lui che ha appena terminato la maturità. 12esimo posto per lui con un ottimo tempo e pronto a concentrarsi per le P2.
Il marchigiano invece centra subito il terzo posto con tre decimi di differenza dalla testa.
Convinto e determinato a dare di più, cosa che farà nel pomeriggio quando nelle prove libere 2, raggiunge il secondo posto.
Purtroppo non riesce a migliorarsi Matteo, dal 14esima casella, prova a spingere forte ma l’asfalto olandese non perdona: Bertelle è protagonista di una caduta che per fortuna non gli reca danni. Solo altra esperienza per lui che può archiviare e cercare di sfruttare domani in qualifica.

Mirko Cecchini, Team Owner: “Abbiamo lavorato veramente tanto e oggi finalmente siamo riusciti ad intravedere le posizioni di testa dove tutto il team Snipers ed entrambi i ragazzi meritano di stare. Sia Matteo che Romano sono veramente pronti, sentono la moto bene e possono far vedere di che pasta sono fatti.”

Matteo: “Non ho mai girato sul circuito di Assen in Moto3 quindi per me è tutto nuovo, l’anno scorso non c’ero ma quest’anno è comunque tutta un’altra cosa. Ho ottime sensazioni, mi sento bene in sella e credo di averlo dimostrato anche in Germania, domani darò il 100% per una buona qualifica domani.”

Romano: “Assen per me è una pista cara, mi ha sempre regalato buone emozioni e mi piace quindi credo proprio che potrò dare molto qua. Oggi ho spinto e sono riuscito a fare un buon tempo. Abbiamo lavorato molto per sistemare alcune cose che non mi permettevano di dare il massimo. Non vedo l’ora di dare gas domani.”

Day1 – Matteo #DutchGP

Assen – Netherlands, June 23 – The stages of the 2023 MotoGP season continue without a break, and with the memories of the recently concluded German stage still fresh, we move on to the eighth Grand Prix: Assen. It’s a historic circuit where our rider Matteo Bertelle, unfortunately, had never ridden before. Let’s remember that last year he was involved in a serious accident that forced him to end his championship prematurely.
On the other hand, Romano is certainly more experienced and familiar with this track, where he has already achieved podium finishes. The SnipersTeam starts off strong right from the first day of free practice. Matteo rides with great focus and doesn’t seem intimidated by the complexity of the bike, despite having just finished high school. He secures the 12th position with an excellent time and prepares himself for the second practice session.
Meanwhile, the rider from Marche immediately secures the third position, only three tenths of a second behind the leader. He is convinced and determined to give even more, which he proves in the afternoon during the second free practice session, where he reaches the second position.
Unfortunately, Matteo is unable to improve his position. Starting from the 14th spot, he tries to push hard, but the Dutch asphalt is unforgiving. Bertelle suffers a fall, fortunately without any injuries. It’s another experience for him to learn from as he aims to make the most of tomorrow’s qualifying session.

Matteo: “I have never ridden on the Assen circuit in Moto3, so it’s all new to me. I wasn’t here last year, but this year is a completely different situation. I have great sensations, I feel good on the bike, and I believe I demonstrated that in Germany. Tomorrow, I will give 100% for a good qualifying session.”

Romano: “Assen is a dear track to me; it has always given me good emotions, and I really enjoy it. I believe I can give a lot here. Today, I pushed hard and managed to set a good time. We have worked extensively to address some issues that were holding me back from giving my best. I can’t wait to throttle tomorrow.”
