British Grand Prix 2019: Romano dopo la vitoria, perde il British e si ferma al 14° giro
British Grand Prix 2019: Quattro punti rosicchiati al leader della classifica e ben 17 al suo diretto inseguitore. Proprio non male questa progressione di Tony Arbolino e del team VNE Snipers, autore di 3 pole positions in un mese. Per il pilota di Garbagnate si tratta del sesto podio stagionale, il settimo per gli Snipers considerando la doppietta austriaca. L’incolpevole Romano Fenati è messo KO da un contatto con un altro pilota a 8 giri dalla fine; era l’ultimo dei primi e aveva lavorato per conservare le gomme per un finale infuocato.
Tony Arbolino: “È stato un weekend incredibile, ricco di emozioni. Sono contento per il lavoro che stiamo facendo. Tre podi consecutivi sono importanti e ci danno la concentrazione giusta prima di affrontare la gara di casa. Abbiamo diversi obiettivi e uno alla volta li stiamo raggiungendo tutti”.
Romano Fenati: “Abbiamo perso un’opportunità. Peccato perché poteva venir fuori una bella gara ma un contatto con un altro pilota mi ha tagliato fuori dalla lotta per il podio. Guardiamo avanti a Misano, la gara di casa”.
